The inlet of Cholón has become one of the meeting points of those who visit Cartagena de Indias and want to live a new and different experience. In this place, in the afternoon, all the boats will meet in the inlet to spend an afternoon of music and dancing.

One of the most requested excursions in Cartagena de Indias is to visit the Rosario Islands that is part of the system of natural national parks of Colombia. Located near the island of Barú, the Rosario islands are surrounded by crystal clear waters and abundant corals of surprising colors.

A paradise of 3.3 kilometers in its widest part and a length of 1.7 kilometers in the longest, belongs to the archipelago of San Bernardo.
This exotic place is one of the jewels of the Rosario and San Bernardo National Coral Natural Park. Its varied marshes form labyrinths that serve as a refuge for smaller fish.

The Islote de Santa Cruz is recognized for being the most populated island in the world, in which approximately 1,200 people live on a hectare. When you get in touch with the population you will notice other ways of living and enjoying the Colombian Caribbean. You will walk through very narrow streets and you will share the way on how this small but overpopulated island is being organized. You cannot miss another great experience that the island offers you!

As its name indicates, Isla Grande is the largest area of the Rosario Islands. It has around 200 hectares and in it are the three characteristic ecosystems of the islands: the coastal and inland lagoons, the mangroves and the dry tropical forests.
On Isla Grande you will find the “Laguna Encatada”, a place where you can also swim at night to get in touch with the plankton and see how a new universe of lights opens up under the water.
In this island you can be in contact with the natives, know their culture, their gastronomy and their typical dance called champeta.
